You will be picked you up from our meeting point in Sultan Ahmet, a popular area of Istanbul, and we will return you there on the evening of the 25th April. Alternatively, we can drop you off in Eceabat (Çanakkale) so you can continue your own tour around Turkey. Please note that we will not be able to provide accommodation in Istanbul for the 23rd or 25th of April.
Please arrive by 09:30 AM for a prompt departure at 10:00 AM
Approximately 8:30 PM
• Transportation in our fully air conditioned luxury coach (Non-smoking)
• A fluent English speaking tour guide throughout the duration of your tour

• Early arrival in Anzac Cove on the 24th of April
• Overnight stay at Anzac Cove on the 24th of April
At 09.30am, we will meet at our designated Samyeli Travel meeting spot in the Sultan Ahmet area (this area is close to where most hotels and hostels are located). We will then board the coach and begin our drive to Gallipoli. During our journey, we will stop to pick up lunch and any supplies you will need for your overnight stay in Anzac Cove. We will also be showing a movie about Gallipoli, to help give you an idea of the type of people who fought in this war, and for you to picture the conditions 104 years ago. ANZAC Day commemorations on the Gallipoli Peninsula are organised and conducted by Turkey, Australia and New Zealand. Upon arrival at Gallipoli, we will head to Anzac Cove to get a good spot for the Dawn Service, which begins early the following morning. There is also the possibility of visiting Lone Pine, the Nek and the Chunuk Bair War Memorial. Overnight: Anzac Cove Important: For your overnight stay at Anzac Cove, you will need to bring a day pack. Once your main luggage is loaded onto the coach in Istanbul on the morning of the 24th, it is securely locked overnight. This means that you will not be able to access it again until we arrive at Eceabat or Istanbul on the evening of the 25th. Please also note that during your overnight stay at Anzac Cove, the weather can be very cold. We strongly suggest that you bring sleeping bags, warm clothing and blankets. We also recommend a wet weather jacket in case of rain.
The Dawn Service begins at first light on the 25th, a truly moving experience for everyone. The service includes tributes and tales of your fellow countrymen, as the many thousands who have gathered remember the fallen. After the Dawn Service, we will make our way to various sites for other commemorations. The first site we will visit will be the Australian Service at Lone Pine, followed by the New Zealand Service at Chunuk Bair. After the NZ service, your guide and coach will pick you up, and we will depart for Eceabat. At Eceabat, we will have a short break and those who wish to leave the tour here can do so. Our coach will then depart for Istanbul, arriving in the evening, where we will drop you back off at the Samyeli Travel meeting point. Please note, accommodation for this night will not be provided. If you wish to leave the tour in Eceabat, you can continue your travels around Turkey by taking a ferry to Canakkale.
